Tackling the Black Friday sales: Homewares
Share

A note from me —

I was initially going to do a big email with everything: clothing, accessories, homewares. The whole gamut. But, there is just way too much out there. My shopping emails are delayed, because I was overwhelmed.

So, this is the first one which is all about homewares, based on the feedback I put up on my Instagram Q&A asking what you wanted me to edit from the Black Friday/Cyber Weekend sales. I’ve included a range of prices and homeware ‘things’, from vases to kitchen storage containers and apparently what is the best cotton bedding.

Leave a comment if you think I’ve missed out on a website with a great sale! Some I checked and they had nothing worthwhile (ahem Jardan).

I hope you enjoy because this took about five hours straight of scouring the internet and going through pages and pages all over. It was fun! But a bit exhausting.

Loads of Loewe candles are included in the Net sale. I tell myself it’s a wise purchase because you can then re-use the vessel afterwards. (I pop it in the microwave for 30 second bursts and clean the inside with a dry paper towel in between.)

Cast Iron Round Casserole

It’s probably time to buy a Le Creuset piece, with up to 40% off. There’s also a whole heap of Le Creuset on sale at David Jones.

I’ve just ordered this 17-piece dining set from In The Roundhouse and I CANNOT WAIT TO USE IT. There’s 20% off everything. There’s also a mini version of the set too. I already have the all green set which I use all the time.

These trays are also SO good to style with and to organise. I have been gifted these and need to take a cute photo of them where they’re not filled with stuff that I drop into it when I walk into the house. Most of them are sold out except for this one, so get in quick.

Certain houses can pull off Fornasetti wall plates as a feature. If yours can, this is on sale.

I bought this shoe stand unit a few months ago for the backdoor to neatly put my shoes away when I walk in. (We’re a no-shoes inside the house kind of house.) The brand Sagitine has up to 40% off at the moment.

Love how fun this Matilda Goad x Anthropologie lamp is. It’s only US$131 on sale but only available to be shipped within the US, if you want to go via the parcel forwarder route.

The Apothecary Hand Wash

There’s 20% off everything at IKKARI. I LOVE the hand wash and it looks beautiful by the sink. I have the Green Mandarin scent, but the Geranium Parsley Bitter Orange is meant to be amazing.

Rachel Donath has 20% off all in-stock items, including these wave chairs that consistently sell out and often re-sale for more than RRP. I’ve been thinking about getting it as an aesthetic desk chair… There’s also a counter stool version.

This isn’t sponsored, I just like it. Also, I have interviewed Rachel previously for Screen Tests:

You probably recognise Rachel Donath pieces, but, you may not know about the woman behind them. I’d been following her brand on social media for some time which had really gained traction during COVID, but hadn’t met her till an Aje collection launch lunch in Melbourne

There’s 25% off everything at Marmoset Found, including these platters. I have a similar one to this (but it’s more round) and I use it all the time whenever I have people over.

I have this vase which is also at Marmoset Found (with the 25% off). It’s a good size and looks great with the flowers start drooping a little.

Bow Bin No.2 - White

A chic bin from Pan After. Yes, like, a rubbish bin kind of bin. Look, I think this is so chic and I’m considering this one.

And, there’s 25 more picks for paid subscribers. 25!
