Just like you have capsule wardrobe items, we love the idea of ‘capsule’ / ‘investment’ jewellery pieces! I love wearing my beautiful gold dainty pieces with a bit of sparkle intertwined through it all. Makes me feel like I’m well dressed no matter what event - I’ll wear pretty much the same pieces at work as I would at a wedding (I love them so much) - Adrianna :)
Disclaimer, I am not a dainty girl - I love two big cuff style bangles on the wrists for an event, or hands full of rings. Alternatively, a big pair of earrings with a bare neck or some chunky freshwater pearls and leave my ears plain.
Getting dressed up is so fun, and having a few quality core pieces can feel like a signature.
Love a big statement earring for events or something vintage I’ve bought on my travels or permanently borrowed from my mum or grandma! Everyday collection is much more simple and can get a little lazy to change it up
I have the mega dome earrings and love them! But I’m always just wearing them on their own because they feel like a statement piece and I thought they’d be too much with anything else (let alone a statement necklace!) Your tip about the different weights is sooo helpful and is making me want to try wearing the earrings with a necklace now. Also love your draped top with it! x
I have been thinking about looking for a new jade bangle - I just have the one from when I was a child. Or even just incorporating more jade jewellery in general!
I love to mix bold and subtle pieces to create balance. Also love to add a pop of colour or different texture for visual interest. Thanks for the new styling ideas!
I love the bag adornment tip! I have been experimenting with wearing multiple cuffs over sweaters and other long sleeve outfit to add a bit of shine and interest - though sometimes I do worry I’m giving Wonder Woman!
“Jewelry with intention and not an afterthought” whewiiiiieeee do I need help with this. I’ve gotten more into jewelry now that my kids are older and I don’t have to worry about earrings getting ripped out. I experimented with bracelets but found that my sweet spot are rings and necklaces both of which I like to wear in stacks. I can’t explain it but I love the look of a hand with a ring on every finger!
That makes me so happy to read! Silver isn’t something I would usually gravitate towards but I think it adds a bit of levity to gold when mixed together.
I don't have a huge collection of jewelry and find myself wearing the same pieces every day. At the start of the week I like pulling out a few different pieces from my jewelry box and putting them in a dish on my makeup table so that it's easier for me to get creative each day
I used to work in a jewellery store and sometimes miss having multiple rings on. Still have most of my pieces but now I try to rotate through them and definitely go a bit more pared back day to day
Love adding mixed metals, also I love stacking earrings! Make my look very edgy
The ultimate cool girl formula.
I love mejuri! The stacked rings are very very cool

That's what we're all about—everyday luxury.
Jewellery capsule pieces — definitely something in there.
I like to wear lots of rings (3-4 each hand) to fancy events (like a wedding). Feels super dressy but without being in your face.
I really need to get into doing this more!

I like to stack bracelets alongside my jade bangle. Not a different metal but different texture and colour makes a great contrast.

This is perfection!

I had a cuff on a sleeve idea - but it didn’t make the cut (or… cuff… so many puns.) I need to try it again!

I loved this post and I love Mejuri!
The fear of earrings getting ripped out - a real fear!! I tested out some looks of rings on fingers and should have included them - major regret now.
ooooh yes!! I would have loved to see!
Love this post!!!
Yay thank you Alex!
This post has made me think I really should mix metals for the first time in my life! I don’t suit silver but maybe it will work mixed with gold.

I love this idea!
Love these new ideas! Will totally use a bangle to keep my knit looking great around my shoulders 😊
Jazzes it up!

How fun to work in a jewellery store!
It was a lot of fun but also dangerous 😂 I used to open the mail so sometimes a piece would go straight from the post office into my layby packet
